It's no definitive masterpiece but it's damn close.

This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

Unsatisfying. I hope this was not Robin Williams' final movie. Poignant because it concerns the death of the character he plays. For this reason only was I able to watch it to the end. Not a good reason to view a film. But I wanted it to improve, even after the embarrassingly insensitive stuttering scene with James Earl Jones.

An angry man (you will find out why) finds out he is dying. Robin Williams gives a rounded performance full of drama and humor. Mila Kunis plays his doctor who tries to get him to hospital. There is a journey around Brooklyn as the angry man tries to settle things with his family. It'squite touching and the humor comes unexpectedly. The performances are all good. Mila is endearing as the overwhelmed doctor. There are some laugh out loud moments especially with James Earl Jones.Ignore the bad reviews and that it had to go to Video on Demand quickly. This is a funny unusual dark and surprisingly meaningful comedy plus it's one of Robin William's last movies.

The plot asks what would you do if you knew you had less than 2 hours to live? Stop and answer that before you even watch the movie. Then ask it again after you have. Do that and you will get and like this movie. Too many are hung up on the specifics of William's character. There is dark comedy but this is more of an introspective movie. Robin Williams gets to display the whole gamut of his considerable acting skills over the course of the little time he has left and the antics that ensue. This was one of the better movies to come out in the last few years and should have been the last one of William's movies to be released. A tribute to a man who gave us so much over the years.

This film was disappointing from the first scene until the last. Robin was not funny. Mila was not cute. The anger was not the lovable kind of Grumpy Old Men, but the disdainful kind of the complaining foreign neighbor. More could have, should have but wasn't done with the talent on screen to make this film work. I wouldn't be surprised if half the audience falls asleep halfway through the picture. It was OK, but, why should I say all of this stuff? Because it was terrible. You should know that before you invest your time. Then, should you watch it for history sake, and out of respect for our fallen comedic hero, you won't say that you weren't warned.
