This is How Movies Should Be Made
A Disappointing Continuation
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
I watched breathless until the end of an absolutely fabulous script. Throughout the film, you can predict the turn of a job at home, but you can not predict exactly what it is.yes it will be absolutely dangerous something is sure to happen but it is hard to guess what it is,what it is,what it isObviously I could not figure it out at the end of the idea that people would get into their brains surprised me, I thought more simple things like slaves and rose did not expect it to be in this job, it was a question that I thought was good and surprised me In general I really like the filmin topic, I won the academy prize in the best screenplay category I must say that you absolutely deserve it I could say a better film than this one because I do not call the film bad but it just might be better I like the film in general I just found the final scene a bit nasty was a bit simple I could not have liked Chris's things very easily, and I could not have liked that kind of scenes.
At first, I did not understand what was the point of this film. When I finished watching it, I felt disappointed. I should say it now. Of course everything on the visual side was good, camera shoots, the acting, there were some other flaws in the plot, but I can close my eyes on them. I should discuss the main vulnerability in the story that caused the whole story fail. Racism, that this film is trying to judge so badly, was, and still is one of the biggest social problems. But you will agree me, In the real life it could be scarier, than this film expressed. Somehow, I don't know why, creators of the film decided to put Sci-Fi in the film and make it unrealistic, while they could take a film about segregation period in the USA, or about WW2 period. Also when I reached the end I saw only one message: "Let's hate each other". I can not call this movie Anti-Racist. I definitely would give it 10, if they made movie realistic and filled with anti racist messages, but now it does not deserve more than 5.
This had to be the worst movie I had ever seen in the last 15 years. It appears this appealed mostly to the African-American audience in attendance while I was there because every time a Caucasian character was either injured or killed, the whole theatre broke out in cheers and doing the Arsenio Hall arm wave. Totally disgusting and uncalled for.I have nothing good to say about this movie despite the others here who raved about it. Plot made little sense and I just put this movie in with the cobwebs of movies I never want to see ever again.Get Out made me want to get out - it was that awful and very racially insensitive.
Fun and true and POSSIBLY actually true somewhere. Not like the reich woukdnt have tried it ... I love the creepy old white people they seem like the Stepford neighbours years later...with a racial motive to have perfect partners. You cant just look like someone & the whole personality would be hard to fake so it was clever with all the cultural appropriation talk eh?...& of course funny too. Love the music shes listening to while eating froot loops!! LOL Im a fan of Key & Peele& hope they make more films even if directing. I thought the grandma / maid should have been nominated. Yes it was brief but so effective . I recall Judy Dench getting an award for playing a queen for 5 mins in a movie. Nonetheless this an instant classic in the post-Obama era. NB. I love how ppl say i could care less when they MEAN I couldnt care less......but thats Jeffrey Dalmer's business...LOL But ANYWAY hope to see these actors again in movies. PS I Love the Darius Character on Atlanta, such a lovable persona on that show.
