I like movies that are aware of what they are selling... without [any] greater aspirations than to make people laugh and that's it.
Not sure how, but this is easily one of the best movies all summer. Multiple levels of funny, never takes itself seriously, super colorful, and creative.
True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
The movie is pure comedy with some bitter truth . The plot is emotional crisis of a firstborn when Newsborn come into family.I think its a average experience for every firstborn regarding race , nationality and cultures . I found this movie entertaining and informative . Watch it with family , especially with siblings .
WELCOME TO MINE MINE WE ARE BETTER AT MINING THAN BABIES OH YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH EVEN THO THIS IS NOT MINECRAFT THIS IS BOSS BABY AND A MINECRAFT MOVIE IS COMING OUT IN 2019 I WILL GIVE THIS A 5 EVEN THO I HAVENT SEEN IT BUT FOR ME ITS A 5
So... let's begin by saying this: the movie isn't spectacular. It's your typical, run of the mill kids movie but the comedy in it was pretty entertaining. The thing I didn't like was how many of the jokes were bland and boring. Yeah, there weren't as many as most kids films these days but you could feel them every now and then. In the end I would say: if you have time, watch it.
Boss Baby is an inherently cynical film by nature; it's a film that has no real purpose to exist other than to simply serve itself as a product for kids to consume. It's got no 'oh-my-god-that's-genius' moments or any real characterization: it's a montage of non-coherent randomness that's got all the ADD that made Minions a hit with late-millennial kids in the first place. DreamWorks has made some pretty damn good animated films over the years: Shrek 1 & 2, Kung-Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2, those are all REALLY solid films. Where the hell does Boss Baby fit into that studio-spectrum? It's very near rock-bottom for the studio, right next to Shark Tale. It's bad.The premise sucks: babies in a 'cute-war' with puppies (puppies are way for me), the animation is actually pretty good, but everything outside of it and Alec Baldwin is pretty sub-par; the direction is clueless in moderating its MANY conflicting styles, and it's just fodder to be meme'd to oblivion on YouTube. It's a film with no purpose other than wasting kids' time.Don't watch this animated fart. This baby gets 1.5/5 stars.
