Good concept, poorly executed.
Good films always raise compelling questions, whether the format is fiction or documentary fact.
A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
A mix of comedy and romance with spectacular cinematography. Few good dialog here and there but don't expect too much because Khalilur Rehman was absent IMO. Lead actors are doing well. An average but atleast 2 times watchable.
Didn't have very high expectations but still it felt below par a little.A good story bundled with poorly executed dialogues and jokes and a less than realistic portrayal of Punjab and its culture with a non Punjabi lead actor and really cosmetic acting made it all into a 2 and a half hour time pass. I will not call it a total waste of time but to support Pakistani cinema it can be given a thought but the film-makers should also give thought to making films that are actual films not prolonged TV serials. Go ahead give it try for sake of our industry.
Punjab Nahi Jaungi (PNJ) one of the best movies ever produced in the history of Pakistan's Film Industry. The movie is not only a source of fun and pleasure but also an indicator to social problems like alcohol consumption, post marital relationships, gender equality and divorce. Apart from this, the character of Bebo Gi, perfectly promotes support for love, for language and for nationalism. However, Mehtab Khagga, the elder of the family, grandfather of Fawad Khagga, is encouraging women empowerment in the country, for a better Pakistan. With humor and love, PNJ brings to limelight the social issues and shows inevitability to eradicate social evils.
A masterpiece from Nadeem Baig and a well versed movie after Waar. Storyline is strong coupled with a good plot. Sohail Ahmad and Ahmad Ali Butt have given the movie a charismatic humour which keeps the audience on their toes. Dialogue writing is exquisite and dialogue delivery but most of the actors are amazing. Songs are a little cliché but I personally don't care for the songs. Humayun Saeed has stunned me with his mature acting (Atlast a good performance from him after ages). Overall an excellent and a 'Must Watch' movie.
