n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

It's such a Beautiful Day is one of the most beautiful, and nontraditional stories in film. It captures not only the important moments of a story, which any movie should but also the moments which don't usually make it into a film, due to their regularity in our every day lives. My only complaint about the film is how slow it starts out as. Every single one of my friends which could get through the whole thing ended up loving it, but many of my friends dismissed it around twenty minutes in due to the speed of the performance. If you find you can sit down for the first twenty minutes and allow yourself to understand everything will have a point, you will for sure enjoy this film, However, if you are like my brother or mother, you will quickly put this one down.

"You are forgiven".It's Such a Beautiful Day is directed by Oscar wining Don Hertzfeldt, has the story is split into three chapters of are main character's life. The main character is called Bill, who's memory is slowly failing and has Absurdism visions. This 62 minute film takes you the viewer on a journey inside this mans daily life and he's past. While watching the movie I quickly noticed that the stick man character Bill was a bit like me in some scenes, for example: he makes up people in his head that don't exist in real life just because everyone around him feels the same, just like me when I was younger. Bill is also awkward to be around and he's not sure about everything really. Straight away Bill is already an interesting character that I understand him deeply as a person. It's very clear that Don Hertzfeldt had a vision and a voice for this movie and all of those two things was seen and heard in this movie, because Don vision came to life in animation. That's the best part of this movie is the animation as it had that moody and yet strangely beautiful feel to it that can't be explained. The animation was intriguing and perfect for a movie like this. It's Such a Beautiful Day is a bold, emotional, intriguing and challenging animated movie. If you haven't seen this movie then I say it's worth checking out.

A surprising amount of humanity for a stick-figure animation. The animation, as well as the score, adds a lot to the overall existential drama and suspense of the movie as a whole. Very emotional and will keep you guessing on how much deeper it will go into the human psyche and mind. Because the animation is so minimal - yet so powerful - it focuses a lot more on the human stream of consciousness as well as developing a compelling and heartfelt story. The narration also adds a personal connection to the character of the story. Do no underestimate this film for its simplicity, as it will delve inside the tiniest human memory and then expand through all of space and time.

I ran across this on Netflix and thought "wow, this guy won an award for drawing stick men?" So I watched it with a disdainful bit of envy at first, being an aspiring visual artist. While watching, I was disturbed by the subject matter and the obviously unhinged and intentionally melancholy atmosphere. I watched it in pieces, the first part during a bout of insomnia, the second with my girlfriend after drinking three spiced rum and ginger ale on the rocks, and the last part this morning when I woke up early. I am not sure how to describe this piece, is it genius or sadistic? It basically does make you really think about things. I already do that a lot, so I am compelled to wonder if this film really impacted me the way it was intended to. The main Character, Bill, really seems a bit like he isn't self aware at all. I guess there are some redeeming qualities this film maker needed to share about life from the perspective of disorientation. My final conclusion? Don't watch this bit of film making unless you want to feel disengaged from humanity and disillusioned by mixed feelings about the meaning of life. It is definitely a film making experience, just not one I am sure I would recommend.
