Good concept, poorly executed.

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

Housefull is a painful watch directed by Sajid Khan and starring Akshay Kumar. This movie is painful watch. The film is "Old wine packed in an entirely new bottle." It is a shame to see Sajid Khan comparing his dull work as a tribute to Manmohan Desai,Feroz Khan etc.Direction by Sajid Khan is bad.The climax is ridiculous Music is okay.Performance wise-Akshay Kumar is painful.Deepika shows off wearing the shortest top and shortest skirt. She looks beautiful but acts awful.Ritesh Deshmukh and Lara Dutta shout. After intermission they have another guest who is Boman Irani who shouts with them.Arjun Rampal is good.Jiah Khan and Randhir Kapoor are gap fillers Overall Housefull is painful

If you leave your brains in your home, this movie is a perfect watch. A perfect entertaining movie for weekends. The movie was released at a time, when movie after movie were duds and not one of them were watchable excepting Paathshala. Non stop laughter and entertainment is what this movie is all about. Akshay, Ritesh, Deepika, Jiah, Arjun Rampal, Lara, Boman, and Randhir Kapoor all of them have given powerhouse performance. Only the story could have been a bit better. Akshay as usual is the funniest man around in the movie. There is entertainment and humour in the movie but in installments. Overall the movie is a must watch irrespective of some negative points.

Why am I disappointed? The film is made by the same person who had a television series in which he made fun of people like Mahesh Bhatt and Anu Malik for stealing there ideas and music from American movies and musicians. The same person (Sajid Khan) copied his first movie "Heyy Babyy" from "3 Men and a Baby" and now his new movie "House full" is a complete rip-off of "Meet the Parents" and "The Heartbreak Kid" both coincidentally star Ben Stiller in the lead. This proves that he (Sajid Khan) is the biggest hypocrite in the entire Indian film industry, he was not even able to copy the movie properly, I don't know how much they are paying the critics to give it a positive rating.Don't even watch this movie if you are paid by Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala, don't watch it for free, don't watch it or you will regret it.

Hey! what does the director think of the Indian people. This movie is not just ridiculous, its a waste of money and time. Half the movie is a ripped Desi version of Heartbreak kid but not even half as humorous. The other half swings between slapstick comedy and senseless banter. The character who was most believable was Arjun Rampal- good job in a seriously bad movie. Boman Irani and Lillette Dubey have been underplayed (Director please explain???) Their little affair could have been made hilarious. All in all a very average movie, not really a comedy - made me smile a couple of times in the entire movie. You come out of the multiplex with a feeling of a poor blend of funny scenes from a dozen movies put together in no particular sequence and a bit of a heavy head.Sajid khan must learn direction from his much more talented sister Farah Khan :).
