This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

Often looked as one of the very best Manias along with X-Seven, and for good reason. The wrestling was top-notch. The main event matches delivered and there wasn't too much to complain about.Cruiserweight Championship Match: Matt Hardy (c) vs. Rey Mysterio - This was a good match to start the show. It could have used a few more minutes, but it was quite exciting and showcased both men off very well. The only complaint is the cheap ending. Matt Hardy wins by grabbing the rope. RATING: ***2-On-1 Handicap Match: The Undertaker vs. The Big Show and A-Train - This match was nothing special. Not as horrible as some say, but nothing to get excited about. Undertaker deserved better. The Undertaker wins after Nathan Jones interferes. RATING: **1/4Triple Threat Match for the Tag Team Championship: Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros vs. Chris Benoit and Rhino - This was a good match. The teams worked really well together and the action was fast and exciting. However, like Rey/Matt, it could have used more time. Team Angle wins by taking advantage of Rhino's Gore. RATING: ***1/4Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho - A classic match. HBK and Y2J have unbelievable chemistry, and they put on an amazing clinic with great back-and-forth action and superb storytelling. They would have many more matches in the future, but this one still remains their best, and certainly one of the best of both men's careers. Shawn Michaels wins with a roll-up out of nowhere. RATING: ****1/2World Heavyweight Championship Match: Triple H (c) vs. Booker T - I thought this match was very good. It told a good story with Triple H working on Booker's leg and the Houston Hangover was pretty crazy. This would probably be more well-liked if Booker T won the title like he should have. Triple H retains with a Pedigree. RATING: ***3/420 Years in the Making: Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon - A hugely entertaining spectacle. Vince's leg drop from the ladder was pretty sick, and I loved the surprise return of Roddy Piper. Hulk Hogan wins with 3 Leg Drops. RATING: ***1/2The Rock vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - This was another great match between these two. Not their best match together, but still a great ending to the Rock/Austin saga and to Steve Austin's career. The Rock wins with a third Rock Bottom. RATING: ****WWE Championship Match: Kurt Angle (c) vs. Brock Lesnar - This was an incredible main event. Despite Kurt's broken neck, these two tore the house down in a fantastic technical wrestling contest and were suplexing the heck out of each other. Brock's botched shooting-star press, of course, is what this match is remembered for. A great ending to the show. Brock Lesnar wins the championship with a third F5. RATING: ****1/2This was a stellar show. HBK/Y2J and Lesnar/Angle were classics, and there is other good stuff as well. A must-see for any wrestling fan and one of the best Wrestlemanias.RATING: A

It has been over 4 years since this Wrestlemania took place. I was only 11 years old when i watched this live. The other day i watched Wrestlemania 23 which in itself was awesome, but i thought back to past Wrestlemanias and this one came to my mind and i couldn't quite remember why.So i went out and bought Wrestlemanias 11-17 and 18-21 on box set. Well i watched 17 first because i had to see The Rock v Austin once more because it was awesome. And i skipped 18 and went straight to 19. Perhaps it is because i am now older and can appreciate this Wrestlemania a lot more now than when i first watched it because now i see it as the best Wrestlemania i have ever seen and this is because of a few matches that were simply amazing.Well lets start off in order. The opening match of Matt Hardy against Rey Mysterio was a simply brilliant cruiserweight battle and Reys attire was pretty awesome. Shawn Michaels took on Chris Jericho in a match that was an instant classic. Hulk Hogan v Vince McMahon was another match that i will remember forever just because it was the whole 20 years on the making storyline. And then perhaps one match that i will remember again, forever because The Rock finally beat Steve Austin at Wrestlemania. This match was the last time that Austin and The Rock ever met in the ring and it was another incredible match. Finally the last match on the card, Brock Lesnar v Kurt Angle. A rivalry for the WWE title that had raged for quite a while and then it inevitably hit Wrestlemania. This, in my opinion, is the greatest match of all time because of the truly incredible athleticism that both men showed. From the reversals, to the quick pin attempts. From the huge Angle Slam to the German Suplex into the turnbuckle and finally from that failed Shooting to Brocks F-5 that finished the match, it showed what Wrestlemania is all about.

A great pay-per-view event and one of the best Wrestlemania's of all time, in my opinion. Now on to the match descriptions and comments.1. Cruiserweight Championship: Matt Hardy (Champion) vs. Rey Mysterio- This was a good opener, though it should've been about 4 minutes longer. Finish saw Hardy roll Rey up and use the ropes to retain. 7/102. Handicap Match: Undertaker vs. Big Show and A-Train-An all right match, really should've had 'Taker win by DQ instead of beating two big heels, but the match wasn't all bad. Nathan Jones run in at the end was nice, as was the Tombstone finish. Limp Bizkit doing Undertaker's intro. was awesome by the way. 6/103. Triple-Threat Women's Championship: Victoria (Champion) vs. Jazz vs. Trish Stratus-Not too bad actually, Victoria's actually a decent wrestler, though Jazz is and was clearly the better one here. Finish saw Trish hit a chick kick out of nowhere for the win. 7/104. Triple-Threat WWE Tag Team Championship: Team Angle (Champions) vs. Los Guerreros vs. Rhyno and Chris Benoit-A good though very short match, nothing really noteworthy though. 5/10.5. Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho: Great back and forth wrestling contest, actually though Michaels was going to lose, and thought he should've. The finish was nice, a roll-up out of nowhere by Michaels. 10/106. Pillow Fight: Catfight girls vs. Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson-Purely pointless, could've used the time and added it to other matches. 0/10.7. World Heavyweight Championship: Triple H (Champion) vs. Booker T-Pretty good actually, Booker T proved he deserved the title and I wished he would've won, thought he did win, when he hit that sick Harlem Hangover off the top rope. At least the finish was clean, HHH hit a pedigree in the middle of the ring for the 1-2-3, to retain. 8/10.8. Street Fight: Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon-A hugely entertaining match, actually thought this was going to be a sluggish bout, but it stunned me. The leg drop off the ladder from Vince on Hogan was sick. Piper's return was a little weird. Finish came with three Hogan leg drops. 10/109. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. The Rock: A good match, and a good way to close out Austin's active wrestling career. Nice to see the Rock go over even though he left a month after this event. Finish came after a third rock bottom to Austin. 8/1010. WWE Championship: Kurt Angle (Champion) vs. Brock Lesnar-A great match, even with Kurt's neck hurting him like who knows what. Great back and forth exchanges, and the botched shooting star press by Brock, was one of the sickest landings I've ever seen in wrestling. Amazingly, Brock got back up, F-5'd Angle and won the title. Afterwards, Brock didn't look like he knew where he was. 10/10Overall I thought this was a great Wrestlemania, all the matches ranged from good to great, except for the Handicap and the Triple-Threat Tag match. 9/10.
