My Daughter's Keeper (1991)
An American writer in England takes his children and a newly hired nanny on a trip to South Africa while his wife, a reporter, is on assignment. He has an affair with the nanny, but when he refuses to leave his wife for her, the nanny gets her revenge by kidnapping his children.

Let's be realistic.
A brilliant film that helped define a genre
There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
This movie was horrible up until about the last 10 minutes or so...Nicholas Guest was a terrible actor who seemed to be deep in thought throughout the entire movie.The nanny wasn't much better. Jocelyn Broderick was the only one who made this movie halfway bearable.I actually rented this movie(ashamed to say!)
