Dreadfully Boring
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Mohanlal excels in in this movie,a poignant love story scripted by Ranjith. This is truly a movie for which Sibi Malayil can be proud of. Mohanlal is a delight to watch in both the roles, one an urbane guy and other a normal village guy. Revathi should also get special mention for her role. All the other supporting characters such as Shobhana, Thilakan, Kaviyoor Ponnamma have also done a neat job.The music by Reghukumar is another jewel in the crown with all the songs lending a special character to the movie. The final scene where the two brothers talk to each other gives a satisfying sense of eerie completion to the movie. All in all, an excellent 90's family entertainer.
