This paranormal thriller is set in the present and seeks to raise as many questions in the viewers' minds as it may answer -- acting as a 'what if' exercise in regard to the relevancy, morality and application of paranormal experience in relation to free will, societal customs and what the future may hold.

As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
