It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.

This story has more twists and turns than a second-rate soap opera.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

This is really worth a watch for all malayalam movie comedy fans. This is the story set in a quintessential small-town Mutharam Kunnu.Replete with quirky characters(bailwan Nedu Mudi Venu,Chayakkada Jagathi etc..) this movie is really down to earth, has good clean comedy and stars a young and genuinely funny Mukesh.Mukesh was one of the few really funny guys around in the malayalam industry when he was unaffected and young.Plus there is lizy to drool over too. There is Dhara Singh in a cameo towards the end of the movie and Jagadish is also present in the cast. The songs while not block busters are pretty hummable and adds to the quaint touch. This definitely is up there if you are looking for a nice clean nostalgic trip back to the small town movies that they used to make in the "good ol' days".
