I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

The film may be flawed, but its message is not.

It's hard to believe there are still filmmakers out there who think using homosexuality as 'deviance' as a plot tool is either clever or acceptable. This complete piece of utter nonsense reeks of homophobia and is a sad throwback to the dark ages of cinema where it was considered acceptable to present 'homosexuality as psychosis' for entertainment. Apart from that, this film is tediously constructed with the thinnest of story lines and lousy sound. It's certainly no Fatal Attractiion, though mimics a similar, if much weaker, theme. There's violence but no erotic sex - of course this kind of film doesn't have the guts to go there. But its greatest sin is that it is a boring film. A pointless 'plot' (there is none), pretty ordinary acting, terrible script and mundane direction ensure here is an hour and a half of your life you'll never get back. Rubbish. Don't bother.

GIANT SPOILERS -- With only 93 votes so far, this one from new zealand is not well known. Written by and starring Shiloh Fernandez, Amos is a wandering soul, and we follow him on his journey. Amos (Fernandez) quickly meets up with Graham (Graham Candy), an aspiring singer, his sister Simi, and Phoenix. They are all very nice, and take him in, but there are complications. (there always seem to be complications!) Amos falls for Graham, but Graham already has a girlfriend, and is happy with the way things are. Amos starts messing up everyone's life. The script is quite sparse... they use music to communicate the mood and tell the viewer what is going on. Good direction by Mardana Mayginnes. We totally feel the squirming and discomfort that Amos goes through when he gets caught in his own lies. Lots of flashbacks though; sometimes it's hard to tell if we're in the past or in the present. Also didn't really need to have all those telephone conversations with the chick back home. Didn't really add anything to the story. It gets pretty bloody and violent, so this one is not for the young folks. Good story overall. I was disappointed that it had to get so bloody, but we knew that Amos was so far off his rocker that something whack was going to happen eventually.
