Good start, but then it gets ruined
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
I wish to congratulate Stephen's family and friends, and himself, for the amazing sense of togetherness and positive attitudes. The sense of contact between him and other people, and between all the people that are affected by him, seems to make it a very worthy human experience. He totally brings out the best out of people. I think he's a little extra special, because he has a really positive attitude and a really good sense of humor. It's not about pity, it's about being together as a family, a team, and finding strength. This documentary shows how people can have a very rich fulfilling life, driven because of how someone special in their circle affects their life. It makes us take things take seriously, which makes things seem so much more worthwhile. A very educational and expiring experience this documentary was for me!
