Load of rubbish!!
It’s an especially fun movie from a director and cast who are clearly having a good time allowing themselves to let loose.
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Words of the Titanic (2013) *** (out of 4)This documentary from director Paul Copeland is a pretty unique way to tell the story of the Titanic. We have actors playing the roles of several survivors and they tell their stories about that awful night when the ship went down.I'm going to guess that most people like myself have seen countless documentaries on the subject but this one here has something unique going for it. While we certainly don't hear any "new" stories here we at least get the interesting twist of having relatives of the survivors tell their stories. So basically we have grandchildren of those surviving playing the role of their relative by reading their stories about the sinking. Again, there's certainly nothing new here but I enjoyed the twist of having family members playing the parts of their relatives as they are certainly a small connection tot he real event. With no survivors still with us, it's fascinating getting to hear from people close to them. The re-enactments are mostly taken from previous movies but for the most part this is an entertaining documentary that should appeal to Titanic buffs
