Shy sixteen-year-old Stacy Collins can't believe that the most popular guy in school, an attractive athlete named Bobby Tennison, is interested in her. At first she is flattered by his constant attention, but then he becomes possessive and jealous-telling her who she can speak to and what she can wear. Threats escalate into violence when Bobby thinks Stacy has stepped out of line. Soon she is walking on egg shells and living in fear. Having seen the tell-tale bruises, Stacy's best friend convinces her to break things off with Bobby-but in a moment of weakness, Stacy goes to meet him. It will be the last time she is seen alive.

SPOILER ALERT This was terrible when Stacy Collins gets murdered by Bobby Tennison. Vince Fortner who told the whole story to the detective said that he rode with Stacy Collins and Bobby Tennison to the woods leading to the lake. Vince didn't do anything, but Bobby asked Stacy to come with him and she agrees and then they take a walk. Then he took her to deep into the woods where he pulled out a pocket knife, slit her throat, wrapped her up in garbage bags and he sank her to the bottom of the lake. Bobby hid the secret the whole time. He was lying. Thanks to Vince Fortner for telling the truth before it was too late, Bobby Tennison was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder of Stacy Collins. This was such a terrible scene for people to watch.

This movie is unbelievably terrible, I can't believe that reviewers on here actually think this is a good movie. The first three pages are full of people singing the praises of this crap film. What? Did we watch the same movie? The high school scenario is terribly cliché. Savage and the main girl are terrible, he looks like some ridiculous creep that would never exist. The dialogue is bad. There is nothing good about this movie. The best part of this movie is the previews... Sandbar? Now that's a movie I need to see (kidding). Whoever is making these garbage movies needs to stop wasting their money.

This movie broke my heart in a major way. It also enlightened me. I mean, everybody heres the horror story's of girls in abusive relationships. And your first thought is, how can she stay with him? And how do u let it get as bad as Stacy did? But this really is a great movie. I saw it in Health class, and i was just so sad. Stacy was brutally murdered and she didn't have to be. If someone had just spoken up, or noticed something. It's scary how in love she was with him, and how much he controlled her. THIS WAS BASED ON A TRUE STORY! So everybody should try and look out for their friends. I hope that if something that horrible was happening to me, I A. would have the sense to get out, or B. Have good enough friends to help m.

Of course for a guy it would seem ridiculous! but in the eyes of a woman i see a struggle between love, fear, and devotion. I may not be so suttle but it gets the message across that no matter how much you love someone abuse is not acceptable!!! no a days this is something that is happening more and more and i think if a lot of woman would watch this movie they would see why this is just no going to work!overall this is an excellent movie and it deserves more recognition than it gets. I highly recommend this movie to both men and women. It's got great actors and exceptional plots. This movie would make any movie night fun!
