I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.

Must Watch . . . Great Film based on era of 80's . All Department has done their job a very appreciated.Ajay, Imran & Randeep's work are tremendous.. some scenes are far away from the other kind of that films. after watching the film, surely man's have different kind of the negative attitude. Specially this film is made for only some higher class of the people..Dielouges are the major highlight of the overall film. e.g.=> bas dua me yaad rakhna, Agar me hero ban gaya to pehchan bura man jayegi . . !!Director Milan done Luthria great job. Major Impact on the Box-Office Collection under the production of Balaji Productions ..In short Paisa and Time Both are vasool .. . This Films are definitely of "Top 15 Films of My life " Bdw not watch till now, please watch at list once . . .!!! #YD

ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI – CATCH IT ( A- ) Once Upon a time in Mumbaai is quite different take on the Mumbaai Don world… which is less brutal and hardcore then Company or Satya… An amazing movie with amazing performances by all the leading actors… Ajay Devgan yet again proved that he is par excellence… his portrayal of Sultan Mirza is effortless and complete natural… Imran Hasmi in his Bad Boy Avatar again proved he is the best Bad boy Around in Bollywood. Gangana Ranaut looks drop dead gorgeous and exquisite… Prachi Desai looks innocent and extremely pretty... Randeep Hoda proved that he has abundant of talent… Gauhar Khan's item number was Classy and looks Hot as Always. The music of the movie is really enchanting…. Overall a great movie by Milan Luthria, who didn't mess up the movie with hardcore violence & scenes…, must watch it!

1st: why is there a movie on a story we know? 2nd: to make a movie u at-least have to have a good Good storyline, u don't then, don't make a movie! 3rd: yeah after realizing that it has no story-line whatsoever U look for some good acting and some action! and u think u can do that by having actors as pathetic as Emraan Hashmi and kangana ranaut? Ajay Devgn always rocks even Prachi's acting looked better in front of those 2 I mean 3 adding another waste who was playing agnell Wilson! 4th: U just can't make a good film based on some one-liners and front- line action scenes, If u just wanna show them, then make the movie as small as 1hr 10 minutes maximum!I think my review is enough in these 4 points! In bollywood (which is in India which has a rich culture and thoughts) if we watch these kind of wastes week after another, there's no bigger shame!

I went to see this movie with moderate expectations , after reading the IMDb review , and seeing the 7.4 score . TO confess one thing , this is the first Hindi movie i have seen in the last five years , mostly i have been seeing English movies .Having said that , either i have grown up enough to realize when a person is overacting , or i have simply gotten used to storyline and character building as part of the core of a movie . This movie sucked big time from every direction . I mean at one point me and my girl- friend didn't know whether to laugh at the movie's ridiculous dialogs and overacting , or hit ourselves for buying the ticket . Ajay Devgan looked too old . Kangna Renaut was "NOT" sexy ( how did this director manage this BTW ? ) Emraan Hashmi was ridiculous in his performance .The only good thing , the KID who played young Shoaib was nice in the tiny role he appeared in .All in all , please stay away .
