Dreadfully Boring
Boring
Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
His first DVD is called The Pimp Chronicles Part 1.
That's right. Who is Katt Williams. My girl told me to watch him. Wasn't sure about getting a DVD and then it was on Comedy Central. He wore this goofy coat and baseball hat and I thought who is this dude. Then he started talking. He made me laugh as soon as he opened his mouth. The dude is hysterical. Haven't seen anyone like him. He's full of himself. Let's speak plain. He's real arrogant, but he's a player.Especially because of what he says. Anyone who can make you laugh about the weather and walking around a shopping maul is OK, but anyone who can make fatherhood, relationships funny the way he does is great by me.
I agree with the other review. This DVD reminded me of Richard Pryor Live. Katt Williams is hilarious in this. The DVD is Katt's show back in his hometown Cincinnati. It is intimate and it shows by how he connects with his audience. It feels like you are there watching it. Katt's takes on single fatherhood and baby's momma had me rollin. You will be watching Katt williams Live over and over again. I already know the jokes by heart but it gets me laughing on the floor each time. Definitely a classic!!! If you are thinking about watching this, I suggest you get it now because it's worth every penny. Not a single dud in there. Whether its spelling, math, or basketball, Katt has a fresh take on it all.
Katt Williams is one of the best comedians out there today. He understands how to mix comedic genius with insight like not over spending on your children in with his routine. I've found that some of his comedy gets repetitive over the years but nonetheless, it never loses any of its humor in my opinion. I am anxious for some new and fresh material from him though as some of this was repeated in the Pimp Chronicles on his HBO Special. Check him out on that too. He is a great comic. If you like Dave Chappelle or Chris Rock, you'll really appreciate the comic sty lings that Katt brings to the stage. But one thing - he is NOT a PIMP - cut it OUT Katt!!!! I hope you found this review helpful.
