Mac Daddy & the Lovers (2015)
A unique romantic comedy regarded as the male version of SEX AND THE CITY with a bit of SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER mixed in. This award-winning film (Golden Reel Award at the 2013 Nevada International Film Festival) is being called “A laugh-filled comedy with a very important and powerful message!” The film is written and directed by Mac Jay, who also stars in the film.

Good start, but then it gets ruined
Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.
It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Interesting effort. Some good moments here and there. However, there are some inconsistencies in continuity. A couple incorrect character developments that don't match up with how they were introduced. I was put off by too much overpowering music. Didn't mind the music, but it was overbearing to me. Didn't feel the audio was clear. In fact, I noticed scenes where the audio did not match the "moving lips". ADR may not have been synced up. Plenty of hokey moments and silly scenes. Lighting is decent and shot well. Some pacing issues, as well. Overall, it didn't blow me away. In fact, I found myself getting disinterested. I give it 2 out of 10.
