Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

It's Russell Brand talking about how he was on the news for something unfunny he did that people got offended about for an hour and a bit, for some reason he takes pride in this but he's not clever, offensive or funny, I just felt sort of awkward watching him do silly things and then the crowd laughing and I thought how pathetic it is to laugh at someone simply because they're famous and you don't want to feel like you've wasted your money, it was honestly too painful to watch and I wouldn't subject yourself to such false-confidence and attention seeking, it's ever so sad. That's all I really had to say about it but the review has to be longer than ten lines so this is now ten lines.

Russell Brand has achieved a lot since being the host of Big Brother's Big Mouth, including his own stand-up shows, and his own comedy TV series with Ponderland, and he has also caused controversy. The biggest controversy he and Jonathan Ross together created was their lewd prank phone calls to actor Andrew Sachs that got hundreds of complaints, they called it "Sachsgate". As a result of these happenings, Brand obviously apologised, and quit his radio show, but that did not stop him in any way, he has managed to take his talent to America. With all the furore surrounding the scandal, Russell Brand went on stage to do what he does best, but made a stand-up show focusing on what he went through during, and what happened after. He includes references to the newspapers and news coverage, death threats and press hounding. He also talks about his rise to fame with his appearance on the Royal Variety Performance, and hosting the VMA Music Awards. A very funny show with a very funny performer, I am glad the scandal didn't ruin his or Ross's careers. Russell Brand was number 69 on 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, and he was number 22 on 100 Greatest Stand Ups 2010. Very good!
