Surprisingly incoherent and boring

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

Leo Tolstoy once said: "All great literature is one of two stories; a man goes on a journey or a stranger comes to town." This documentary is great combination of those two elements. It takes you to a journey and as an audience you also feel like a stranger in the town. Tanzania Transit is basically about a train trip but leading characters help a lot to create a frame to understand what kind a travel it is. Travelling by bus or train give always strange feeling while passengers passing through towns or cities, like an outsider protected by glass, take a glance at unknown destinations before you arrive your main target. This documentary is great piece to give this feeling, to be a passenger, a stranger on the train. But being on the road is not the best part. The four main character are also giving a chance to understand how politics, religion or just being a lonely women affect a road trip. However the climax point for me is where the train hit a cow on railway where all people were same against cruelty.I love road stories and this is a great example of it. You should definitely watch if you can find a seat.
