Sivaji: The Boss (2007)

It is both painfully honest and laugh-out-loud funny at the same time.

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.

Sivaji (3D) (U) TAMIL ---------my Rating : 4.5/5 stars EXCELLENTMy First Tamil 3D experience .... It is a 3D version of the sivaji 2007 original flick.... am not reviewing the Sivaji 2007 as it is 5/5 stars rated movie....i will be reviewing this new 3D version.....VERY GOOD:- *3D effects : superb especially in Title SUPERSTAR..... *Songs : best is athiradee had a huge buzz..... *Action : 3D was good especially in second half fight sequences *CLIMAX was rocking in 3D..... *Songs were superb feels real especially in all songs 3D feel was good..... *Story and Direction *Cinematography : 3D was well... *Prasads EFX : has done a very good job..... * Additional attractions were added which gives more importance to feel nearer in 3D....VERY BAD:- *The movie was completely edited from 180 minutes to 150 minutes this leads audience disappoint...... FINAL VERDICT:- *It is a clean entertainer ....Go for it.... I strongly recommend to watch in SATHYAM CINEMAS or ESCAPE or S2..... they show u the real 3D.....I was surprised because a new type of Specialized glasses were given in Sathyam called HFR 3D to view this flick.....I will watch again.....Corrupt police and politicians target a computer engineer for trying to better the lives of less privileged citizens.

I am a fan of Sweet Rajni. I honestly do not know, how I ended up seeing his films. But,I like his films a lot. Lot of entertainment.Well, let's come to movie review. This movie is for ONLY RAJINI FANS. There is different world for rajini fans. Which,many people can not understand.Because, he has huge fans, director's / producers always think that if they only satisfy fans they would get their money back(double... Triple who knows). Well, shankar did give everything for Rajni fans.This is one line story and as usual shankar's CHANGING India IN 2/12 HOURS FILM', like Muthalvan,Gentleman and Anniyan.In every part of film rajini rocks, except the Train track love scene, which looked very cheap.Comedy, Fight scenes (especially the Car chasing scene in drive -in theater. I did not like that matrix kind of fight.), Songs were Superp. Like I said, you will see rajni's domination in every part of film.I saw this film 2 times in first two days. BTW, I thought twice going to theater to watch spider man.Anyway, I am expecting BIG from rajini. He should act more films like 'Thalapathi'.If you are a Rajini fan, this film will rock you. If you can understand Tamil (there is no subtitles) it is worth watching for Rajini and songs. If you don't understand Tamil, you can watch once for songs and to get a feel about rajini films and fans. If you don't like rajini, very sad..you missed the best part.

Sivaji-the boss is an "outright" entertainer.Though its not Shanker's best and its off d' same formula its still widely entertaining. Firstly we'll move on to our only "superstar"RAJNI..he's 56 and still energetic and he walks d' same as v used to c him in his 30's.His style rocks as usual.I can tell u all that shanker has exploit'd Rajni to d' max.The climax scene where he comes in his Bald look actually is really really awesome and his body language is what you call the real STYLE!!!. NOW to Shreya.She's homely and cute pls forget that in all the song sequences otherwise she looks homely in saris.Her voice sync. is pretty bad. Vivek as Rajni's uncle(mama)carries the movie very well.He adds more spice.The comedy scenes are very well reached especially where he delivers PUNCH dialouges.And Rajni along with him ROCKS!!!.He's one of finest actors who's got that body language for comedy. Now move on to the negatives.The story is'nt impressive and its not Shanker's best.You feel shanker has lost his magic and he lavishly wastes money on very silly things.The climax is'nt impressive too.It looks like Shanker dint know how to finish the movie.And the car fight seq. is pretty hilarious at the end. But on the whole as a commercial movie..SIVAJI-THE BOSS rocks!!!It's got everything for a box-office hit(a smashing hit!!).It's a Rajni film more than Shanker's.So for all die-had fans of Rajni it's a massive treat.For shanker's fans its a bit disappointment but lets wait for his next venture "ROBO".

Those who think that the movie is not that good, should watch it again because many like me have enjoyed the movie very much the second time!! rajini's acting,style and his sheer presence are the highlights of the movie....shankar has given his best too....shreya looks sexy all the way....vivek's role as a sidekick goes well as well....all the people behind the camera deserve a standing applause as well....lot of money has gone into this movie-nearly 80 crores INR - solely dependent on Superstar's fame...and the way people have received this movie,it might bring in lot of profit to the producers/distributors and whomever concerned with the movie....a must watch for every rajini fan and for others,watch it sans expectations....100% enjoyment ride
