The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

This is a spectacular production! I have seen the show live twice in Chicago As always, this is a thought-provoking sensory overload, skillfully captured in high definition with 15 cameras! The footage was Masterfully edited, one of the best concert DVDs of all times in my opinion! I only hope and wish that they will release this on Blu- Ray of HD-DVD so that we can re-live this extravaganza over and over again. The cinematography varies throughout the film but remains to be consistent to the overall experience of the film. Asides from the film, music is both personal and raw as he experiments with different genres of music such as R&B, pop,rap and dance. Despite the wildly different genres of music JusTin Timberlake plays with, much like the cinematography, it all mends together well to produce the over arching story that he intends the viewers to experience.

In recent years, Justin Timberlake's been forcefully trying to sell to the world that he can act. For a superstar of his stature, he's done just fine at picking the right roles to showcase his good looks and undeniable charisma, most notably putting both to good use as Sean Parker in The Social Network. But as Jonathan Demme's concert documentary Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids indisputably shows, Timberlake is only truly in his element when on stage being a showman.

He's a crazy talented human being There's an undeniable charisma about Timberlake, and he's so good at so many things it's almost unfair. He can sing, dance, play instruments, and as seen in The Social Network, he's even a pretty good actor. What Timberlake most excels at is entertaining, which makes him the perfect subject for a concert documentary. However, Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids is not just any concert doc. It's an achingly joyous film that is brilliantly conceived and directed by Jonathan Demme. Yes, the Oscar-winning filmmaker behind The Silence of the Lambs spearheads this Justin Timberlake concert documentary.Demme actually isn't too strange of a choice for Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids. He's responsible for crafting one of the best concert documentaries of all time with the Talking Heads film Stop Making Sense, and it's precisely his work on that movie that led Timberlake to seek out his talents to chronicle the final two nights of his The 20/20 Experience tour. The result is something truly special; a film that has no right being this damn good. The film opens by showing Timberlake arriving at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where he'll be performing later that night. We briefly see Timberlake enter his dressing room and crack a joke, but then Demme turns his focus to the Tennessee Kids. We're introduced to the dancers, the backup singers, the drummer, the guitarists, the trumpeter, etc. And then the concert begins, and for the next 80 minutes or so we simply watch a Justin Timberlake concert.

This is truly a masterpiece. The music, the visuals, the spoken word. Everything is on par. There are so many feelings felt throughout Lemonade. I've never seen anything quite like it. Justin Timberlake has changed the entire music game forever. I highly recommend that EVERYONE watches this, it is a life changing experience.
