A film with more than the usual spoiler issues. Talking about it in any detail feels akin to handing you a gift-wrapped present and saying, "I hope you like it -- It's a thriller about a diabolical secret experiment."

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

I had read a few of the reviews on here of this film before I decided to watch and being a small fan of Cheryl Ladd I thought I would give it a go. Cheryl Ladd shines in this film most definitely her best film I have seen her in to date or her best acted role anyways. Baby Grace in places is very cute and you cant help but feel sorry for Grace and her mum especially. So to review the film without giving too much away, it is slow paced but gives you a feeling of what's going on and why, time to bond with mummy and baby. Gory atmosphere to the film but not much in the ways of bloody gore but its grizzly and isn't pleasant in places to watch. Maybe a slightly cop out abrupt ending. Overall if you want a flick to pass the time and something that's going to sick in your mind afterwards then this is the one for you - just don't expect too much from it.

A young couple Michael and Madeline are having their first baby.Unfortunately very tragic car accident results in death of Michael.Medical exam reveals that their baby has died as well.A devastated Madeline decides to carry the baby to term. And Grace is born. She who is thirsty for blood instead of milk."Grace" by Paul Solet is an unsettling horror film with excellent central performance of Jordan Ladd.Madeline is an overprotective parent who will kill and destroy life for her vampire baby. Her maternal devotion is almost psychopathic. The atmosphere of creeping dread is well-developed in "Grace".There is a bit of disgusting gore and a lot of suffering.Pretty bleak and sad horror film that is not for the easily offended.8 cribs out of 10.

Giving birth to a child is usually regarded as blessing. What if our beloved child is not interested in eating mother's milk, but prefers a solid portion of fresh blood? The answer to this question provides the amazing debut of Paul Solet entitled "Grace". The movie can be best described as a disturbing meditation on the unbreakable relation between mother and child. Steering clear of horror genre conventions, Solet's movie is firmly based on reality providing truly visceral scares out of the unusual, yet intriguing concept. Filled with the feelings of isolation and paranoia, "Grace" is incredibly effective and up to the point avoiding any unnecessary scenes which could distract viewers' attention from the main story. The movie feels like an undiscovered classic of genre cinema that mostly relies on creepy atmosphere, not unlike Roman Polanski's "Rosemary's Baby". I'm looking forward to whatever Paul Solet has in store next.
