For Love or Money (1993)
New York concierge Doug Ireland wants to go into business for himself and refurbish a hotel on Roosevelt Island, N.Y., but he needs an investor. With a few weeks left before his option on the site runs out, Doug agrees to help wealthy Christian Hanover conceal his affair with salesgirl Andy Hart from his wife. Despite his own attraction to Andy, Doug tries to stay focused on getting Christian to invest $3 million in his project.

I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Good , But It Is Overrated By Some
It is neither dumb nor smart enough to be fun, and spends way too much time with its boring human characters.
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
This is one of the few additions in the vast boring arena of calm romantic comedies that's worth a watch in a relaxing mind. I really like Michael J. Fox as an actor and I think he's done a good job here. It's a pity a versatile actor such as him has decided not to make any movies further. Gabrielle Anwar ("Body Snatchers") also looks and acts quite nicely.The story, however, has no surprise elements, it's told for like thousand times. But still, due to smart screenplay and decent acting by the two lead actors, the film never gets tiresome to watch. And the funny parts, if not hilarious, not irritating either and fit nicely with the film's quiet mood.
Doug Ireland (Fox), the bellhop of a ritzy hotel, has a dream to develop his own hotel. His best hope for a sponsor to raise the three million he needs by the deadline is Christian Hanover, but things get complicated when Christian asks Doug to look after his girlfriend (Gabrielle Anwar), who Doug is in love with.We know this story as "The Concierge" in Australia.Its a great fun romantic comedy and family movie - great for a weekend home with the family, or its a sure bet for a video at home with your partner.The chemistry between Michael J Fox and gorgeous Gabrielle Anwar (the girl Pacino does that famous tango with in Scent of a Woman) is precious - and its great to see them both as leads in a movie.8/10.
Some people have suggested that Fox's character in this movie isjust Alex P. Keaton all over again. I think they missed the point. Alex was in love with money. Doug is not as materialistic; hedoesn't desire money for its own sake, but views it as a tool thatwill help him realize his dream. Alex was self-centered. Dougcares about other people. He is successful because he canempathize with people and give them what they need. He is veryinspiring. This movie is described as a comedy, but I didn't find it veryfunny; I cared about the characters too much to laugh at them.
Michael J Fox is the concierge. Nice concierge. Actually, this is a funny film and everyone will be pleasant to watch the film. Gabrielle Anwar's Andy is very sexy, but I don't favour in. Andy is cute, pretty...ok. I think that all people should watch this film...esp. Michael J Fox's concierge role!
