Good concept, poorly executed.

At first rather annoying in its heavy emphasis on reenactments, this movie ultimately proves fascinating, simply because the complicated, highly dramatic tale it tells still almost defies belief.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

Spoiler Alert!!! This film is literally the most untalked about slasher film I know of and honestly, it deserves more recognition. The idea about this film is a group of friends who make a story about a serial killer on campus and killing the friends one by one. The problem becomes big when the lead guy finds out that somebody really is killing the friends one by one in the exact way they do in the story. The whole story is confusing but very entertaining and enjoyable. I enjoyed the film for what it was and I didn't really like the big twist at the end because I think it fits well if the twist didn't really exist. It seemed like a big rip off of the slasher film April Fool's Day. I give this film a 6 out of 10 due to the dumb twist at the end.

Awful is a pertinent description for this movie. A group of spoiled private high school students reside at a posh boarding school where apparently every student is constantly alone in the dark huge stone structures of the campus, whether it be the dorms, library, or showers (and, of course the showers). All characters lack empathy or any semblance of common sense. As the "drama" unfolds as one practical joke or misunderstanding after another (none of which are surprising or even slightly imaginative), this stinker plods along with extreme overacting and a plot line that seems to have been made up as they went along. I'm bot sure what category a movie like this belongs in, but it certainly belongs in the waste bin. Does anyone watch these movies before they are released?

I just finished watching this and I thought it was absolutely amazing. The ending was perfect as was the entire story line. I think this movie really should be more famous. At first i though the movie was going to be another one of those cheesy teen slashers but after i watched it i realized that it is not even close. no regular teen movie could have had such a complex ending and interesting plot throughout that constantly kept you guessing, also with the relationship between Owen and Dodger being crushed by her relationship with Mr. Walker was equally as enticing. definitely worth a watch if your tired of regular teen horror movies and want something more well thought out.

We all know the story of the boy who cried "wolf", called it once - people ran out scared - it was joke, same thing a second time, and the third time it was real - no people - he was killed, well that is the concept borrowed for this horror film attempt. Basically a local girl that attended Westlake Prepratory Academy has been murdered in the woods, and new arrival to the school Owen Matthews (Julian Morris) is new to the information. After making friends quite quickly, including senior student Dodger (Lindy Booth), he connects with them in a game of "wolf" where one person is marked as the wolf, i.e. the liar, and one by one the suspected liar is eliminated until the real one is revealed. Anyway, Owen and Dodger decide to play a much bigger version of this game in order to catch the killer of the local girl, by setting up a warning internet message with killer details and victim information, that quickly spreads throughout the school. It starts off as a harmless joke that no-one is questioning, but the smiles are soon wiped when people look like they are truly getting to bite it, and there is no distinction between lies and the truth. In the end, what also turns out to be a big joke with all eight "friends" backfires on Owen, he is arrested for killing a man that only seemed mad, and Owen reveals Dodger's true colours. Also starring Jared Padalecki as Tom, Kristy Wu as Regina, Sandra McCoy as Mercedes, Paul James as Lewis, Jon Bon Jovi as Rich Walker, Jesse Janzen as Randall, Gary Cole as Mr. Matthews and Anna Deavere Smith as Headmaster Tinsley. If this film was a bit easier to understand, if there is was any good gore, and if the story was a bit more substantial, I might give it a more positive review, but I can't because none of this is the case, a bearable but disappointing horror thriller. Okay!
