It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.

While "Deep Blue Sea" is no Academy award-winning movie or a movie that revolutionized the shark movie genre, then it is still a rather enjoyable movie and it certainly beats most shark movies by a mile. There is an abundance of good action throughout the course of the movie, most of which is quite intense both is execution and presentation. There are plenty of moments that will have you up at the edge of your seat the first time you watch "Deep Blue Sea"."Deep Blue Sea" has fairly great CGI effects for the most parts. The sharks look realistic and menacing, and that is a must for a movie in this killer shark genre. However, it looked rather fake when the sharks took Russell Franklin (played by Samuel L. Jackson) and Jim Whitlock (played by Stellan Skarsgård). They had an interesting and good cast ensemble to perform in the movie, which included Thomas Jane, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgård and Michael Rapaport. All in all, "Deep Blue Sea" is a good shark movie, and one you definitely should take the time to watch if you enjoy shark movies and haven't already seen it. A friendly word of advise though, stay well clear of the sequel they made for it.

Searching for a cure to Alzheimer's disease, a group of scientists on an isolated research facility become the prey, as a trio of intelligent sharks fight back. Deep Blue Sea might lack a good plot, cgi and above all it lacks realism but that's what made it into a classic. It's no Jaws or Shallows or even Jaws II in terms of quality but it ain't no Jaws IV. It has an incredible and talented cast of actors like Thomas Jane and Samuel L. Jackson, the most badass Chef on the planet and above all the most over the top death of all time. This isn't a masterpiece or a great movie but unlike Sharknado and other insane ideas it's actually the most well made of them all. (A+)

To say that this movie is a 5.8 is gross negligence and downright hard-nosed.C'mon people. It's a movie about smart sharks and smart humans, which I know doesn't say much, but it's an action flick and it does deliver in that respect. From start to finish, lots of funny one-liners and lots of blood and gore from both creatures, man and beast.Sit back, grab some Paul Newman's microwaveable pop-corn and have yourselves a good time.

Deep Blue SeaIf sharks were smart they'd be getting Shark Week royalties. This thriller, however, maintains the motives of shrewd sharks would be less financial. When a test shark escapes from the submerged sea-lab where it's being studying for an Alzheimer's cure, the financial backers send down a company man (Samuel L. Jackson) to investigate. His inquiry uncovers the scientists have increased the sharks brain mass causing them to revolt. Trapped below the waves, the remaining survivors (Stellan Skarsgård, Thomas Jane, LL Cool J) must keep the genetically enhanced animals from independence.More hilarious than horrific, this Renny Harlin directed creature feature is as corny today as it was in 1999. While it was one of the first movies to showcase digital sharks, it also came with hollow acting and a horrendous soundtrack from LL Cool J.Lastly, the best way to dumb down acute sharks is with heavy doses of marijuana.
