Challenges of impending parenthood turn the lives of five couples upside down. Two celebrities are unprepared for the surprise demands of pregnancy; hormones wreak havoc on a baby-crazy author, while her husband tries not to be outdone by his father, who's expecting twins with his young trophy wife; a photographer's husband isn't sure about his wife's adoption plans; a one-time hook-up results in a surprise pregnancy for rival food-truck owners.

Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.

It's not a real movie, more of a bunch of related sketches. But they tie them in just enough to not make this be an overly long episode of "Saturday Night Live".Most segments are OK. A few are dull/uninteresting, and a few are _great_. The best is the first segment with Dennis Quaid. He's great, but others are following along quite nicely. It alone is worth watching the whole movie for. There's nothing much new or profound to learn her, it basically just shows that each pregnancy can go in any of the possible ways without any particular reason. That part is interesting only to the young women in their first pregnancy. But, that's just the framing. The jokes are not really geared that way, but, are general momma-papa-baby jokes.Though I do find the "Dude pack" to be a little weird and obnoxious at times, they do come up with most of the good jokes outside the Dennis Quaid segment.Cameron Diaz is superbly cast and looks the part, but, doesn't perform it well. Anna Kendrick ditto. The rest of the gals are OK, but none are great. Guys have less light on them (hey, it's a pregnancy movie, so...), but Dennis Quaid is great, Chris Rock got his part good (he misses way to often, but didn't this time) and the rest are OK, with an interesting cameo by Joe Manganiello (most of all, the pull-up scene). What's interesting is that you don't see a lot of missed opportunities. About the only serious missed opportunity is near the end in the hospital, though the movie tries to be a little serious at that time, so it kind of makes sense to not overdo the comedy at that time. So, just to let you know what to _expect_: nothing profound, but quite a few good jokes and one great segment. Much, much, more than most modern comedies.

would have given this a zero if I could..i tuned this one with my girlfriend and omg the acting was horrible and what has happened to Cameron diaz's face omg she looked awful btw her character was awful. JLo was her usual awful self outside of that George Clooney movie she made she is awful in everything. After we slaved to watch this concoction of awful with acting found in better high school plays we decided to stop watching this dreck 45 minutes in because I was afraid of being charged with a crime of crimes against humanity watching this movie. Have no idea how movie ends but I just do not care because from what I saw all the people involved should be doing time for stealing the money of those who paid to watch this and paying others for the time wasted watching this.

Warning Alert: Dennis Quaid plays a grandfather in this film. I bet that made you feel old!As expected an average film following interlocking stories of five pregnant women and their partners.Cameron Diaz is a reality TV show fitness and weight loss guru but disagrees with her partner about almost everything when it comes to raising the baby. Elizabeth Banks runs an avantgarde baby shop. Her husband has issues with his father played by Dennis Quaid who is very competitive being an ex racing driver and has a very young new wife who is also expecting twins.Anna Kendrick finds herself pregnant after an one night stand. Jennifer Lopez wants to adopt a baby in Africa but her husband is unsure about it.Periodically Chris Rock turns up as part of the Dads Club who gives paternal wisdom to some of the fathers to be and his scenes are a device to add comedy to the film. Some of the stories are more successful than others with the Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks stories being more touching whilst others are more run of the mill. The film's ensemble screenplay is a bit hit and miss and when it comes to the labour scenes you kind of guess that one of the deliveries will not go well but it might lead to a touching father and son reunion.

WTEWYE is not going to appeal to the masses, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was a chick-flick as I'm sure there is something in it that men would relate to as well, but I'm sure it would be a film for people within a certain age group. The story is well acted by many familiar faces, most notably Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez. All the women are well known for comedic roles as well as romantic ones and everyone, including the men, were good, engaging, believable and funnily portrayed. Matthew Morrison, Dennis Quaid, Joe Mangangiello, Elizabeth Banks, Chase Crawford, Anna Kendrick and Rodrigo Santoro are other well known names in the ensemble - amongst others - who bring the action right up to you as these couples go through the highs and lows of parenthood. Whilst it's been done before and will no doubt be done as again as it's such a universal experience, this film's wide scope of covering many scenarios made it a little different. It's not a fantastic film as it's all quite basic and straightforward with few surprises but I'll say it's worth a watch if it's a topic that appeals or one or more of the actors interest you. It's easy watching, light entertainment with no bells or whistles (except a few ripped torso shots) and also thankfully the clichés are kept to a minimum. Better than average viewing but not original enough or out of the ordinary enough to score higher. A nice film for adults, I wouldn't say it was family viewing.
