When her husband suddenly dumps her, longtime dedicated housewife Deanna turns regret into re-set by going back to college... landing in the same class and school as her daughter, who's not entirely sold on the idea. I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

This is the worst kind of film. A chick flick, lets tell all women how empowered they are, masquerading as a comedy. I laughed twice, both at the main characters friend Christine, she was the highlight of this film. I stand corrected, the highlight was the end.

This was a very fun and funny movie and I wasn't expecting much but I have not laughed so hard in a while! Both of us were cracking up at the one liners. You need a laugh, this is your movie.

This movie was so frustrating! It's a simple and overused formula. I rented it because I like Melissa McCarthy but it's still seriously disappointing. I would have asked for my money back had I gone to see on the big screen. Insulting and just plain lame. This formula was well done with Rodney Dangerfield's Back To School.Anna Farris did a similar type movie with House Bunny, only a world Better and the story flowed.

I don't know if I'm more upset about losing $20 or the slowest two hours of my life spent watching this train wreck. I love Melissa McCarthy so I decided to buy the movie on amazon before it was out to rent. Big mistake. I really wanted to love this movie bit there was nothing polished about it and it was so cheesy my friend couldn't even finish it ... not worth your time or $
